From Monday 9 June 2025 the Aliens Police is expanding the number of paging windows at several workplaces across Slovakia. The aim is to speed up the processing of applications and reduce long waiting times.
Where new sites will be added
Most new windows - up to five - will be added in Bratislava. After one-page window will also open in these cities:
- Dunajská Streda
- Trnava
- Nitra
- New Chateaux
- Banská Bystrica
- Žilina
- Ruzomberok
- Košice
- Michalovce
- Prešov
These are not new departments, but Increase in the number of service points (windows) within existing workplaces.
Page days and times
Applications will be available during normal site days:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The date must be booked in advance, namely up to 7 days in advance via the online booking system.
Faster processing, less waiting
The police expect to be able to process daily hundreds of extra applications. The increase in the number of staff at the counters should bring:
- Faster processing of applications
- Shorter wait for a free appointment
- Greater comfort for foreigners living in Slovakia
