Visas - Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia

The largest country in the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia is largely a desert state, has no permanent rivers, and is bathed by the Red Sea on the west side, the Gulf of Aqaba on the west side, and the Persian Gulf on the east side. It is bordered by the Kingdom of Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait to the north, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates to the east, and Oman and Yemen to the south.

Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam, it has beautiful nature, an interesting past and present. There are two important cities for Muslims - Mecca and Medina. Sophisticated rock art is displayed in Hegra, which ranks among the country's greatest pre-Islamic treasures, as well as typical desert architecture in Ushaiger.

Along the coast of the Red Sea are turquoise waters, coral reefs and beautiful beaches that in places are reminiscent of other tropical areas. This part can be explored by boat, around the islands, it is also possible to snorkel or watch dolphins.
